About the photo
One of Copenhagen's most iconic towers can be found at Christianshavn: the spire of Church of Our Savior. King Frederik V inaugurated it back in 1752. The Stairway to Heaven, as it is often referred as, has witnessed the city's development ever since. A staircase on the outside of the spire spirals all the way to the very top of the tower. And the four evangelists look out from each corner.
