About the photo
The Copenhagen City Hall Tower was once Denmark's tallest tower. The first time the bells rang over the city's roofs was at midnight on New Year's Eve between 1899 and 1900. For more than a century the town hall tower has stood proudly next to Tivoli Gardens in central Copenhagen, offering one of the capital’s best views.
