About the photo
In the very centre of Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful and famous streets of the Danish capital. In the wake of the Copenhagen Fire back in 1728, the street raised from the ashes like a Pheonix. Ever since, it has witnessed both various governments ruling the country through the government building on the other side of the canal, and fishermen’s wives selling the catch of the day on the street to make a living.
